Sport News with Mr Herrmann - 28 March 2025
Hi St Rita's,
I’m thrilled after witnessing the fantastic performances in our cross-country event. Our students have shown incredible dedication, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the run on Monday. Special congratulations to those who secured top positions in their races, and a shout-out to all participants for their efforts. Your hard work and perseverance have truly paid off, making us all proud.
As we look forward to the next term, excitement is building for the next two sports: Touch Football and Soccer. Training and practice sessions will be conducted during lunchtimes to prepare students for these sports. These sessions will focus on skill development, game tactics, and fitness, ensuring all participants can enjoy and excel in these activities.
I encourage all students to get involved, try something new, and make the most of the sporting opportunities available over the holidays. Engaging in sports outside of school is crucial for well-being. It helps us stay fit, make new friends, and develop important life skills like teamwork and perseverance. Whether it's touch football, soccer, gymnastics, swimming, or any other enjoyable activity, staying active is key to a healthy lifestyle.
Please contact me if you need more information about sports available outside the school environment.
Stay active, stay healthy, and let's make the next term another successful one for our school sports teams!
Yours in sport,
Mr Herrmann
