Welcome to the Week 9 newsletter. We have had a very busy and productive term, and there’s more excitement to come!

Easter Liturgy

On Thursday, we will have our Easter Liturgy at 8:45am in the Cascia Centre. All classes are presenting a piece, and all members of our school community are invited.

Easter Raffle

Tickets are on sale each morning this week and next week for our St Rita’s Easter Raffle. Tickets are 50 cents each, and all proceeds go to our wellbeing fund.

Student Voice Forum

Today, the Year 6 students and I are attending the Student Voice Forum at Good Counsel College. The Student Voice Forum is an opportunity for students to connect and reflect on what it means to be a member of CEDC – an education community grounded in faith. The Forum invites students to listen deeply and share courageously, to learn and lead, to become a voice for their community and a person for others. Students will be taught listening and leading skills throughout the Forum. They will work with leaders from CES to help inform system-wide decisions and actions throughout 2025. We look forward to a day of learning and growth.

Mass at Ozcare Innisfail Aged Care Facility (Warina Lakes)

Today, Olivia, Rome, Dom, Isaac, and Grace (Year 6) are attending mass at Warina Aged Care Facility with Mrs Bryan. Our students will lead the mass and look forward to giving back to our community.
