Principal's Report - 28 March 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you parents for working in partnership with us as we enter the final week of Term 1. I am so very proud of our students. They have committed to their learning and achieved growth. Students are to be commended on their conduct and manners. It is evident to community members that our students shine, and it is a privilege to lead a wonderful committed community.
The Prep enrolment process for 2026 is well under way with many applications already received. Any existing St Rita's families with a child born between 1 July 2020 - 30 June 2021 please ensure you enrol your child for Prep 2026 by next Friday. Follow this link to enrol https://www.stritascps.qld.edu.au/enrolment/apply-online/. Spread the word to any families you know who are looking for a school for their Prep 2026 child - we are hosting next Tuesday morning 1 April 9.30am - 10.30am, a Peek Into Prep morning. This time provides an opportunity for parents to meet with me to ask questions about our delivery of a world class education at St Rita's. The little tots can meet our wonderful Prep class and teacher, Ms Murphy and teacher aide, Ms Lisa.
Congratulations to Fitzgerald House for taking out the 2025 Cross Country trophy! An exciting afternoon with big cheers from family members. See Mr Herrmann's sports section for great photos.
St Rita's pride shone brightly recently as we enjoyed our pianists recital of music pieces from classic Beethoven to Harry Potter themed pieces.

We now move into the Church season of Easter. We will celebrate Easter next Thursday 8.45am at assembly through poetry and song performing Holy Week events. You are welcome to bring along special family members and friends.
Forward to a Better World, Mrs Bryan.
