Principal's Report - 9 October 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is wonderful to be back for the final term of school.  Students have arrived organised and have settled well into learning and play.  I hope you enjoyed the facebook posts concluding Term 3, as we concluded the term with much action and engagement with Catholic School Sporting Carnivals in Rugby League & Netball.

This week I have analysed with leadership our School goals, Student Learning Data, and Student support processes.  I would like to shout with pride the exceptional quality of our school processes in supporting student learning and well-being.  The unwavering passion staff show for our students is truly inspiring.

As I celebrated our achievements in learning, well-being and engagement with school life, let us be reminded of the importance of recognising and nurturing the hidden treasures and pearls within each of us.  Each person in our St. Rita’s School Community is a gift, and together, we can continue to make a positive difference in the lives of each other.

It is with pleasure I welcome Mrs Brittany Sharp, our new teacher to St. Rita’s, as we commission another class in 2026.  We are currently operating with 5 classes, and will move to 6 classes in 2026.

Ensure to place the Parent Flyer on your fridge to keep up-to-date on all school events.

Please spread the word for our Melbourne Cup Luncheon, The Golden Gallop. It is our main school fundraiser and is a sensational day out. Please think about how you can help us. Any donation for a prize for our raffle/cent sale would be appreciated. Perhaps you might be able to come on the day to help - you are guaranteed a good time.

Best wishes & great camping vibes to our Yr.3/4 class and Yr.5/6 class who will be heading off on camp this term.

Forward to a Better World, Mrs Bryan.
