Excitement is building as our Athletics is fast approaching.  

Term 2 Week 10 Monday, 23 June: (Athletics Rotation) 

The Athletics Rotations will see students participating in a variety of field events including long jump, high jump, and shot put. These rotations are a great way for students to build their skills and enjoy some friendly competition. 

Term 3 Week 1 Wednesday, 16 June: (800m races, Chap Chappa Park) 

Our senior students (born 2016- 2013) will have the opportunity to take part in the 800m races, a special event designed to challenge their endurance and showcase their determination. We can’t wait to cheer them on as they give it their all! 

Term 3 Week 1 Friday, 18 June: (Fitzy vs Palmy Day, Chap Chappa Park) 

Finally, we’ll be celebrating Fitzy vs Palmy Day, a fun and energetic day focused on health, fitness, and community spirit. Students will enjoy a range of activities that promote well-being, teamwork, and a love for movement. 

Preparation for Athletics Days: 

As we approach our Athletics Rotations, students are encouraged to continue practicing the skills and drills that will support their participation in events such as long jump, high jump, and shot put. 

Uniform Reminder:

Students should wear appropriate sports attire, including runners with white socks, school sports shorts, and a green or red shirt to represent their house—Fitzy (green) or Palmy (red). 

Sun Safety, Hydration & Nutrition:

To ensure students are well-prepared for an active day, please apply sunscreen before arriving at school. Students should bring a full water bottle for hydration and healthy snacks, such as fruit, to help fuel their bodies throughout the day.
