News from our Deputy Principal, Leader of Learning and Teaching/Diversity - 22 May 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
Learning and Teaching
I am incredibly proud of our school and the unwavering dedication of our teachers. Yesterday marked our first Professional Learning Team meeting for the term, where staff engaged deeply with data on student progress in reading, writing, and number in Mathematics. Our teachers are committed to improving outcomes and ensuring every student thrives.
Report Card Information
From Semester 1, St Rita’s will be transitioning to our new academic reporting application, The Learning Dashboard (TLD). On the 26 June, 2025 you will be using the new app to access your child's Semester 1 report and all future reports.
TLD will take you to your child's report via a modern web interface, providing an improved user experience when accessing it via your mobile phone, tablet or computer.
The new report will also include student cohort data. This cohort graph provides you with a visual indicator about your child’s grade and those of their peers. This is only displayed if the cohort has seventeen or more students in the group.
How do I access the new system?
You can access TLD via the MYCE app or the Parent Portal (through our website).

The Learning Dashboard Login Page:
Once you have navigated to TLD, users will need to login again using their Parent Portal Credentials.
Can I save a PDF version of my child’s report?
Yes. There is a print PDF functionality available within TLD. On clicking the blue ‘Print PDF’ button on the top right-hand corner of the dashboard, a PDF of the report will be downloaded to your device which you will be able to save and print.
If you require any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
Mathematics Information for Parents:
If you’ve ever wondered what your child/ren are learning in Mathematics at school and how you can support them, the Mathematics Hub provides clear, short, year-level curriculum summaries for families. Follow this link and then select ‘Families’ from the top of the page: Parents
You will also find a ‘Student’ tab next to ‘Families’ which will provide an insight into Mathematics: the Why?, Games, Careers, and Challenges
Enjoy the learning with your child/ren.
